Personal Logo:

Color scheme: mint/aqua and yellow/creme

Bio: My name is Paulina Goryl. I am a 22 year old female living in the suburbs of Chicago. I am almost a college graduate from Saint Xavier University and double majoring in digital marketing and management. I happen to also be the President of SXU's Student Government Association and a Cougar Peer Mentor (basically a TA for a Transitions/ College 101 class). I am currently looking for an internship/job after I graduate, but until then I am a bartender at Copper Top in Oak Lawn. I got to where I am by working hard and striving to do the best job I can. Furthermore, for fun I like to read, be artsy and creative, and traveling.

Tagline: Future Manager/Marketer and a phenomenal drink concoctionist

I would describe my personal brand as someone who is trustworthy and hardworking but also has a fun and creative side. I chose of the colors because aqua/ mint is one of my favorite colors and yellow just gives off good and happy vibes. However, since I like traveling and hiking, those colors remind me of nature and they are analogous colors so they work well together. I wanted to also incorporate these colors in my logo somehow. I have a lot of nicknames from my friends and Paul and Pauli are the main ones. I wanted to make the logo unique and personal. Since it is not only a logo for me but also for this blog that I am posting this assignment on. The goose represents many things personally to me so little bit of my personality can be seen in the whole design. My thoughts on the implications of marketing an individual as if they were a product can be both a good and bad thing. I could be a good thing because it is a great tool to market oneself and all their skills and achievements. It is like a formal first impression. This can be bad however because like any product for sale, some brands are better than others. This can cause some stiff competition for whatever you are doing.
